Moral of the story: Don't be making the sex with people at quick builds out of town. It's 'notorious'.

AN elder, our BS conductor and his wife and son were to come over one night for pie and coffee, we had invited them, we were so SpearITCHAL!!
I called them after dinner and said, We'll see you soon? Wife, obviously crying, said No, something suddenly came up. (Sooo Marcia Brady) I asked if everything was ok, she said, No.
The next night was scheduled for this BS conductor/elder and another were to come for our annual Sheepshittin' Call. THey didn't come, and we didn't ask.
The family was not to be seen, until the following week TMS, when this elder is DF'd. There was a collective gasp, from us too, and suddenly several people started sobbing around the hall and running out. Looking back, it was the funniest thing I'd ever seen.

Well Hello
by RichieRich ini've received several messages from friends about posting an update here.
it is true there are people here who care for/ about me, and it doesn't take too much time out of my day to just post a litte update, so i figured i would.
i heard from a little birdy with a big nose that my name has been mentioned once or twice around here, and that prompted me to stick my nose in.

I hear you.
I have learned the most important thing: Life is a gift, I don't know from whom or what, but it's meant to be enjoyed and love to be spread, that's all.

Thanks for this study. I used to look up every scrip and write a note about it in the margin, if it didn't fit the lesson I'd 'meditate' until I found some thread of a connection.
Just now, I read every word from the article and every word that you wrote, thank you for reminding me of how they control and manipulate people by using their own personal, very real desires and feelings. Really. The eating poop para, while funny is SOOO real. Their completely juvenile writing style and method of preying upon the open minds of their followers is so sick and so plain to see. THis is what we battle against when we try to get friends and family to listen to the facts.
Awesome job V. drag below for message. . .

Wow! Congratulations! That's most important, you and your new husband are all that matter. I know you want them there, probably esp your mom. Don't let them ruin or dictate anything that you want, focus on the love that will be there among other family and friends, not on the love that won't.

Aw, so sorry mmo. I'm there with you too. We gotta just keep doing our thing: work, friends, husband. Also, it helped me so much to read other people's experiences here, there are sooooo many people who are dealing with the same thing.
Someone already mentioned the grieving process, it might help you to brush up on that; IT IS like they've died, you will come to accept that nothing will undo this, making it like death, that's how snug the mind control is. I had to accept that they're gone, but like many grieving survivors, we write to them now and again to convey our feelings, these letters are not read because the recipient is gone, obv not a physical death but it might as well be!
Take the time when you can to read as many posts here on this. I just posted in the last week a letter I wrote to my parents after not communicating in well over a year, it's hard. But the support you get here is priceless, personally saved me from from feeling totally shitty.
